Description
Catalogue Number 2401012. Outstanding audio throughout with original master presser's signature hand etched on the run off grooves. 'PORKY and 'PEKO DUCK', only found on the first press.
Appears virtually unplayed near mint vinyl with no clicks or pops and a rich deep bassey feel.
RARE CROSSED OUT/CORRECTED MATRIX ON BOTH SIDES - MISSPELLED - MISTY MOUNTAIN TOP.
UNDER LICENSE is featured on the white strip found only on the early press.
Comes with 1st. issue flipback lyrics record sleeve without splits.

This is the heavier, thicker original type of vinyl, therefore much more robust and lies perfectly flat on the turntable. The audio sound is crisp and crystal clear and a joy to listen to. There is just a suggestion of a couple of light static ticks at the start of the intro to Stairway to Heaven but in my view does not detract from the fabulous top audio.
The cover is the original heavy duty matt non laminated gatefold 1st UK press. No splits or damage save for very slight wear to the corners.
The labels are superb. The original plum/orange Atlantic type with only the vaguest suggestion of spidering only when angled up to the light.
A highly collectable and desirable example of this most iconic Led Zeppelin album, originally released on November 8th 1971 and extremely rare in this condition.
