LED ZEPPELIN

This is the UK original of Led Zeppelin IV. This original press can be identified by the early A3/B4 matrix, the heavy vinyl, the printed inner sleeve with the four printed symbols adopted by each band member and the etchings in the runout. The record is complete with the earliest lightweight matt gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a superb bright gloss, with a few hairlines and one small mark on Side 2 . On playing the sound is bold, rich and bright. There is some occasional light background noise and a little noise on the mark briefly but this is largely insignificant, the vocal is extremely clear and the backing is loud and complete. The plum label is in fantastic condition, completely unworn and bright with sharp black text. The groove has the essential PECKO DUCK and PORKY engraved into the runout. There is NO spindle wear, just a couple of faint spider marks.
The record is complete with the original printed lyric inner sleeve. It has a split along the bottom edge and some general wear, but otherwise it is still very solid.
The original gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is in rare sharp unworn condition. The colours are still bright and the inside black has slight discolouration but is still solid. There is some very slight corner wear and a small scuff on the top edge otherwise the edges are extremely firm.
