Description
For instant sale is a superb condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1971 of the 'LED ZEPPELIN lV' album by LED ZEPPELIN. It is on the ATLANTIC label and has the catalogue number 2401012. A genuine UK first pressing with the iconic red/plum labels, this is known as the 'version 8' and is identified by the following as described on and taken from Discogs :

Of 8 known 'plum' label variants, this is the 8th. Specific to this label variant are:
1. 'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock on labels.
2. 'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corp.' in white area under ATLANTIC on left side.
3. LED ZEPPELIN is printed above spindle hole
4. Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular Atlantic logo reads 'deluxe 2401012'
5. There is no Peter Grant credit, and song publishing credits are: Kinney Music Ltd./Superhype Music Inc.
6. Track B1 is credited on B-side label as "Misty Mountain Hop"
Sleeve is a gatefold, thick card with sealed left side edge when opened up to reveal 'The Hermit' drawing. Disc is housed in a grey card liner with credits on one side and the lyrics to 'Stairway to Heaven' on the other. Outer glue-tabs on the left and right sides of liner.
Importantly, although Jimmy Page had got all the 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' credits removed from the labels by this time, the liner still retains this credit, bottom left side.
Further identification of this version can be seen in the runout grooves where the matrices A//3 and B//3 can be seen along with 'PECKO DUCK' on side 1 and 'PORKY' on side 2.
The sleeve is in superb condition for its age with hardly any creasing or wear - remarkable condition for this sleeve which is notoriously prone to wear. However, the original inner, although in overall very good condition, does have a small tear on the top edge and a large split along the bottom edge and a crease on the second side. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition of everything for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any 'spindle trails' indicating that the record has not been played very often. The record is also in excellent condition with only a few very light surface marks. It plays superbly with only occasional light surface noise and very occasional 'pops'. Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'. I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this excellent album. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.
