Description
I have been collecting records for decades and the time has come for some of them to find a new home. Most will be in excellent condition, some have been in my family for years and remain unplayed. I will grade them all fairly and listen to most before listing.
All of them will be professionally cleaned before being sent.

Up for auction here is a Rare first Uk pressing of the fourth LP by the mighty Led Zeppelin. This was released in the Uk on Atlantic records in 1971 catalogue number 2401012.
This a pressing on the Plumb Atlantic labels.
This copy is complete with its original inner and gatefold sleeve.
It has the matrix numbers A3 11 16 on side 1 and B4 11 8 on side 2.
It has Pecko Duck in the runout groove on side 1 Pecko on side 2.
The vinyl is visually in Excellent condition and looks in very nice shape. There is a light superficial mark across the end of Rock and Roll into the start of The Battle of evermore but this does not affect the audio. Visually it looks really nice.
I have listened to the vinyl at high volume and it plays through really well. There is some background crackle through but this does not distract . There is one click during Black Dog and a few ticks at the end of Misty Mountain Hop but on the whole it plays nicely and sounds good. I will grade the audio as Very Good+.
The labels are in Excellent condition and free from writing etc. Just some light spindle mark. It has the misspelling of Misty Mountain Hop - “Top”
The original Matt gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition with some light signs of wear and a couple of areas of wear along the top of the front ( see pictures) .There is no writing or splits.
The original heavy paper dark coloured inner sleeve is complete but is split down one side and the bottom. Both sides are excellent.
The record will be sent in a new polylined inner.
Overall a really nice copy of this classic.
All of my records will be sent well packed so they arrive as intended. Depending on the value they will be sent insured and tracked delivery.
I use Record Collector ratings to grade my vinyl. These are :
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
