LED ZEPPELIN UNTITLED, VERY EARLY PRESS, RARE PLUM 1971 UK LP 2401012, A3/B4 MATRIX EX+ TO NM
A stunning copy of this seminal classic album which is considered to be their best and deserves a place in any serious record collection.
Relisted due to a time waster. This is a genuine early UK press, the very first pressings featured the Peter Grant credit as Executive Producer, which was soon changed, this is one of the last variants of the plum Atlantic labels which were replaced by the green and orange labels from early 1972 onwards.
I’m selling this extremely reluctantly, this is a final upgrade quality pressing that has been fully tested, played exceptionally well on both sides and sits flat on the turntable when playing.
The Matt sleeve is in absolutely EXCELLENT PLUS condition or better, has been carefully stored in a PVC sleeve. The fragile inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition, has small slits at the bottom and on both sides but is still usable and well above average, the record has been stored in a mobile fidelity sleeve which will be sent with everything else to the winner.
The record has been fully play tested on both sides and is in magnificent EXCELLENT PLUS to NM condition visually on both sides. When played right through on my system play grade is EXCELLENT PLUS, very clear, punchy audio. The labels are in NEAR MINT condition with a few very light spindle trails visible on each side. The record has been wet cleaned prior to listing.
This album has had very few careful plays in the last 51 years. It will be shipped very carefully to the winning buyer.
