Description

Excellent copy of this Led Zeppelin rarity - Possibly the rarest of all!  Following an error at a pressing plant in Ireland, a batch of copies of Led Zep IV were manufactured with 'Asylum' labels instead of 'Atlantic' ones. The facts about when this oddity came to exist are not known but I'm guessing 1975 as I believe this was the only time that Zep IV was pressed in Ireland in any form. Either way, the mispressing was immediatly withdrawn but not before some slipped-out.       Very few have subsequently surfaced and the last one to do so sold for Eu600+ (Ebay/June 03, 2014)

The matrix numbers are K50008 A and K50008 B with "STRAWBERRY" and "X" stamped into the runout on both sides.

The side one label misspells track 3 as "The Battle Of Evenmore" (rather than Evermore).

Condition is VG+ / VG+  Audibly AND Visually  graded as per Goldmine Std with just a couple of minor surface/superficial hairlines that do not affect play in any way.  -  It is a very very good "Strawberry-Cut" pressing of this iconic album. - Sleeve and Inners all present, intact and VG+.
