Description
Welcome to my listing!
I am selling off the last remaining, most important items from my personal HUGE vinyl collection including many mint or near mint 1st pressings, test pressings & more - Zeppelin, Beatles, Sabbath, Bowie, Pink Floyd & NO FILLER! ;)
Please check out my feedback over the years from very satisfied buyers!!!!!
This is now the LAST of my collection currently being listed over this week, a lot of which has had only one owner from new!!!!!!!
Please read the listing & terms thoroughly & all the best!!!
So now I present to you;
A one owner from new - original pressing of Zeppelin's 4th untitled album - red/plum atlantic labels w/"Misty Mountain Top" mispressing on b-side label, "under licence" & "PORKY"/"PECKO DUCK" etchings.
Studied under strong light I can see some very light surface marks, with 1 or 2 more visible (have tried to show in photos) - for playback I used a Rega turntable & fairly sensitive cartridge; picking up only a couple of minor crackles (but please take into consideration all equipment will vary) this is a REALLY clean condition copy, which plays beautifully with otherwise no noticable surface noise on my system, well looked after ready to now be part of your collection!!!!
A beautiful, crisp & clear PORKY PECKO pressing of, in my opinion; their greatest record!!!
Sounds FANTASTIC - on heavy, solid 1970's vinyl, the way it was intended!!!!!!!!
Those drums!!!!! John Bonham really was an absolute MONSTER of a drummer who could easily play with a lighter touch when needed; creating a dynamic which is missing in a lot of modern music playing & production.
Very few visible spindle marks, clean labels in good order: no writing or shrinkage. The original card inner bag has some minor wear/creasing to folds as pictured, the classic gatefold sleeve having a fair smount of shelf wear to edges (please use the zoom in function on ebay to make sure you can see this) taking this into consideration; this is a fantastic copy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matrix side A: 2401012## A//3 1 3 (4?)
PECKO DUCK (upside down)
Matrix side B: 2401012 B//4 (111?)
PORKY (upside down)
So this is it, one of all my all time favourite albums in awesome condition ready to sit proudly as a part of your own collection!!!!!!!!
The small print - please read in full, sorry ;)
The LPs I'm selling are from a well loved personal collection, they have not been cleaned before sale so may have fingerprints or dust.
Will be sent in strong LP mailer & 450g plastic sleeve.
Please expect 3 - 5 working days dispatch and 3 - 5 workings days delivery time after that.
I'm happy to discount postage on multiple UK orders, to be discussed after sale.
If you're overseas I will ONLY send using eBay's Global Shipping Programme - in this instance; eBay decides the final postage cost, not me & the time it takes to reach you might be greater. I'm so sorry but I CANNOT combine postage for overseas sales, eBay's GSP simply won't let me discount.
If you are having the item sent to a UK address to then be forwarded overseas - please be aware I will need it opened, checked & feedback left at the UK ADDRESS as soon as it arrives - I am not accountable for issues with condition/shipping, nor can accept returns IF sent overseas by a 3rd party.
Phew!!!!!!
Thank you for looking!!!!
Any questions - please feel free to ask!!!!!!!!!!!
