Description

Led Zeppelin - In Through the Outdoor

Swan Song SSK 59410 1979 UK

This is the Original UK issue in the MEGA RARE `E` Bar Room Sleeve plus `CLEAN` inner paint sleeve plus Outer Original Brown Paper Bag on the swansong label with Matrix/Run Out Groove - `strawberry` SSK 59410 A5/SSK 59410 B5

Vinyl - EX+ Still has that just pressed shine to it, plays GREAT, Looks Superb under Normal Light! - its only under very bright spotlight you can see the usual light paper scuffs that come from being sold in the rough card inner sleeve, fortunately it hasn't been played that much and so is still a Beautiful Copy!! NO scratches etc

Labels - UNMARKED & CLEAN with NO wear, some spindle marks visible under bright light - still the record hasn't been overplayed at all !! Plus contains `Made in UK` Credit!

Sleeve - NEAR MINT Original strong card Bar Room sleeve with sharp opening in Superb Condition (see pictures) has just a couple of small edge creases on the top of sleeve THATS ALL!!, none on spine, NO edge wear at all, front top corner slightly squashed - but make no mistake this is still a Top copy, I would say very hard to improve on the condition of this especially considering the `E` sleeve hardly ever comes up for sale anyway - NO Graffiti/Tears/Sticky label problems etc

Inner Sleeve - EX++ UNPAINTED, sharp opening original thick rough card inner with `printed and made in England` credit, NIce Clean Copy

Outer Brown Bag - EX++ Original UK first issue lined brown paper in TOP condition with no Rips Tears or Edge Wear

Rarity (some things you should know about collecting this LP) - Very difficult to find the genuine UK Original releases in top condition! For several reasons!! Firstly because while the `A` sleeve is relatively common the other 5 variations B - C - D - E - F are much rarer and when they do turn up its hard to find them in nice condition (this cover design creased easily even though it was made of thick cardboard) also you have to be very careful as the USA and some European issues (especially German) can look the same, although there are clear differences from the UK version. Also the inner sleeves contained a picture that when wet would change colour so many of these are now coloured, plus later versions came on a silky smooth card. The original first issues were on rough textured thick card and had `Printed and Marketed in England` on the bottom (again check that yours is the genuine article people swap these for later or even foreign ones). Even the outer bag is different depending on which country it was pressed in! Finally the vinyl has `Manufactured in the UK` Printed on the label and will have the word `Strawberry`  in the run out groove, the majority will have some paper scuffs on the vinyl surface when viewed under a bright spotlight simply due to the fact that it was sold in such a rough inner sleeve (Physical Graffiti was the same!!) - this album can be a minefield to collect if not careful - needless to say this item you are looking at fills all the criteria!!!

Just a note on Grading - I always play grade my records right through and unless stated they do not jump, skip or stick when played!!! I always view the vinyl under a very bright halogen spotlight!!! Why? because although I have excellent vision when viewed under a normal light or even worse a fluorescent tube (most shops have these) the vinyl will not show up how marked it truly is - some view records in daylight but this has to be done in direct sunlight, many is the time I have bought a record from a car boot sale etc looked at it in daylight only to find later it was literally covered in surface marks - I do this so that I can give the full picture and should please even the most `critical` of collectors. Also I photograph the WHOLE of the cover (I don't cut off the corners or edge) so you can see as close as possible what you will receive!!

Tracklisting:

Why not buy more than 1 item and save on postage costs

Postage/packing: I use new professional record mailers with several cardboard stiffeners to protect the cover - the record will be placed in a NEW clean inner sleeve, removed from the record cover (saves ringwear/pushing through seams) and together with original old inner placed in a NEW pvc outer sleeve - I also include recorded delivery as standard in the overall cost in the UK (70p) it covers up to £30 in case of loss - it will be optional for international packages (as it is more expensive) but still advisable! - Please note complete postage charges (below) before bidding!!! - Because I use strong packing to protect sleeves the packet obviously weighs more!!

Payment - I am quite patient but if I have waited a couple of weeks for money and sent reminders unless there is a good reason I will claim back my fees and give a nonpaying bidder strike - I don't charge for Paypal!

Returns - If you feel there are any problems with an item you have purchased please feel free to contact me - I will be glad to discuss the matter as I want people to be happy with their purchase!!!
