LED ZEPPELIN ‘LED ZEPPELIN II’ – A MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN ATLANTIC RED/MAROON RECORD LABEL STEREO VINYL LP IN GATE-FOLD SLEEVE WITH LIVIN’ LOVIN’ WRECK ON SIDE 2 RECORD LABEL. CATALOGUE NUMBER, ATLANTIC 588198.
This rare variant has the label error LIVIN’ LOVIN’ WRECK (SHE’S A WOMAN) on the side 2 record label and Livin’ Lovin’ Maid on the track listing on the sleeve.
Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, beautiful bright and undamaged record labels with just a few light signs of play to the centre of each record label.
Side 1 matrix, 588198 A 2 115 and Side 2: 588198 B 2 116
Both sides of the LP are in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, really clean, bright and undamaged vinyl to both sides, with just a few insignificant light surface hairlines.
The LP plays through both sides without faults, no skips or clicks, and hardly any background crackle. A fantastic powerful sound quality through all tracks.
And is protected in it’s original Ernest J. Day Ltd London, Gate-Fold Picture Sleeve, this sleeve is a nice example in Excellent condition, and is the correct sleeve for this Livin Lovin Wreck issue, it has a creamy lighter shade of brown and a green tinge to the spine edge. The sleeve shows minimal wear and is one of the better examples seen for a long time, the front panel is free of any of the usual rubbing and ring wear that is usually seen on these non laminated sleeves, there is a removed sticker mark on the top right front, there are no seam splits or tears, with just light rub marks to the edges.
For a comparison, below are scans of this correct lighter brown sleeve on the left, and also the darker colour later issue sleeve on the right.
The gate-fold centre part of the sleeve is perfect.
The back panel of the sleeve shows just mild LP storage and light handling signs.
