On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Led Zeppelin called "Led Zeppelin III" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Red/Maroon' (Plum) Atlantic label!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL - AND BOTH THE RECORD & COVER ARE IN STUNNING VISUAL CONDITION!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE 1970 1ST PRESSING WITH THE CORRECT LABEL CREDITS!!!!  THIS LP WAS ENDLESSLY RE-PRESSED THROUGHOUT THE 1970s , AND EVEN THE ORIGINAL 'RED/PLUM' ATLANTIC LABEL HAD 3 DIFFERENT PRESSINGS, SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO IDENTIFY A GENIUNE 1970 1ST PRESSING - TO AVOID BUYING A LATER 1971 RE-PRESSING!!!!  MOST 'RED/PLUM' ATLANTIC PRESSINGS YOU SEE ACTUALLY DATE FROM 1971 - WHICH IS WHEN MOST SALES OF THIS LP TOOK PLACE.  HOWEVER THIS LP IS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - WITH ALL THE CORRECT 1ST PRESS DETAILS DATING THIS CORRECTLY TO THE DAY OF RELEASE IN 1970!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN ALL THE DETAILS.  THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GENIUNE 1970 1ST PRESSINGS AND ALL LATER RE-PRESSINGS IS THE TEXT ON THE RED/PLUM ATLANTIC LABELS!!!!  THE MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE THAT APPLIES TO 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY  IS THAT TOWARDS THE TOP OF EACH LABEL ABOVE THE WHITE STRIPE IN LARGE TEXT THERE IS PRINTED 'PRODUCED BY JIMMY PAGE' AND BELOW THIS 'EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: PETER GRANT'!!!!  THIS WAS CHANGED VERY QUICKLY, AND THE 'JIMMY PAGE' CREDIT WAS MOVED TO THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL (IN SMALLER TEXT) ON ALL LATER RE-PRESSINGS - AND THE 'PETER GRANT' CREDIT WAS COMPLETELY REMOVED ALTOGETHER!!!!  ANOTHER THING TO MENTION IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE 'CAT. NUMBER' ON THE LABELS!!!!  1ST PRESSINGS HAVE THE CAT. NUMBER AS '2401002' - WHEREAS LATER PRESSINGS INSERT AN EXTRA 'DASH' AND SHOW THE CAT. NUMBER AS '2401-002'.  AND THESE DETAILS ARE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT AS THEY ONLY APPLY TO 1970 GENIUNE 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE VINYL IS THICK AND QUALITY - WITH THICK 'SQUARE' EDGES - WHEREAS LATER PRESSINGS ARE MUCH THINNER!!!!  THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL, MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS LABEL TEXT (SEE ABOVE), 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 'DO WHAT THOU WILT' &  'SO MOTE IT BE' ETCHED IN THE RUN ON GROOVES, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROTATING WHEEL' FULLY LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is 2401 002 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red/Maroon Atlantic label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Led Zeppelin at their best!!!! Any fan of Led Zeppelin, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING visual condition - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is almost as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  However whilst virtually the WHOLE RECORD plays PERFECTLY with NO surface noise AT ALL - there is curiously some background sound in the quieter parts of the first 2 tracks on Side 2 - though there is absolutely NONE elsewhere!!!!  There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade visually FULL Excellent if not better - with the playing grade only slightly less for the reason given above (though actually the vast majority of the records play actually EXCEEDS the visual grading)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The FULLY LAMINATED 1st Press 'Rotating Wheel' Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking), barely ANY yellowing, NO laminate lifting AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  It is also important to note that the 'Rotating Wheel' works PERFECTLY!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated inside is in STUNNING condition with barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPRTUNITY!!!!
