In 1971, Led Zeppelin released their fourth studio album. The third album ('Led Zeppelin III') was dissed by a lot of critics, and sales were less than what they should have been (after the first two albums). They decided to release this album untitled. It's not called 'Led Zeppelin', as that's the title of the first album. It's usually called 'Led Zeppelin IV', but that's not the official title, either. It's sometimes referred to as 'ZoSo', to represent the unpronounceable four symbols that's the actual title. But 'ZoSo' is not the title either! (See pics of the four symbols. Each band member picked one, and these are the symbols.)

'Led Zeppelin IV' went on to become one of the best selling albums of all time! Selling over THIRTY SEVEN MILLION copies worldwide, it's up there with some of the greatest music ever made. And for good reason. It's incredible! Their timeless classic "Stairway to Heaven" is on here, along with the hard rocking banger "Rock and Roll". They used Fairport Convention's Sandy Denny on the haunting and experimental "Battle of Evermore", as Sandy duets with Robert Plant. "Black Dog" is pure hard rock ecstasy, and "Going to California" always brings a tear to my eye. The entire album is perfect, from beginning to end. Not one throwaway track on here!

The Spanish label Hispavox S.A. made a few of these, on a 12" picture disc LP. In EXTREMELY limited quantities! It's rumored that it was only a few hundred. As in probably 500 or less! I'm not exactly sure of the number made, but let's just say that when they DO pop up, they're not around for long! And most sellers ask for a crazy amount (and usually get it). I'm asking for the price I paid. Hopefully, this goes to a real fan of the Mighty Led Zeppelin!

Picture disc is a thick and heavy 220 gram vinyl, maybe the heaviest I've ever had! It comes in a sleeve that's not really a jacket, but a sleeve. With song titles on one side, and the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven" on the flip side. The vinyl looks great, and is shiny and clean. The "sleeve" has some light shelf-wear on it, but it's still intact, and still looks really good. This is not just an impulse but, it's an investment! These picture discs are the real deal, not a lathe cut, or something homemade. A real, FACTORY produced collector's item, made in a very small quantity. If you wait on this, it WILL be gone, and I only have one to sell. So, good luck...
