LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin IV LP 1971 EARLIEST 1st Press

	£		72
	$		95

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Led Zeppelin called "Led Zeppelin IV" and is a VERY rare 1971 UK 'Earliest' 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic labels!!!!   THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH DIFFERENT LABELS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS IN STUNNING CONDITION WITH A SUPERB 1ST PRESS COVER, MEGA RARE UNSPLIT 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND STUNNING BARELY PLAYED RECORD!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER IS THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH VERY DIFFERENT & EARLIEST POSSIBLE LABELS TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  THESE LABELS ARE INCREDIBLY RARE AND ONLY APPEARED ON THE VERY EARLIEST RED/MAROON (PLUM) 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP - BEFORE THE LABEL WAS RADICALLY CHANGED TO THE STANDARD 'LATER' RED/MAROON (PLUM) PRESSINGS.  FINDING THESE MEGA RARE LABELS ON THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE INDEED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCES BELOW:

AS MANY LED ZEPPELIN COLLECTORS WILL ALREADY KNOW - ALL STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP CAME ON THE RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL.  HOWEVER THESE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSED LABELS ARE VERY DIFFERENT TO ALL STANDARD RED/MAROON 1ST PRESS LABELS - AND WERE CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THE SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES.  IF YOU LOOK AT THESE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSED LABELS IN MY PICTURES BELOW - THE FIRST THING TO NOTICE IS THAT THE 'UNDER LICENCE FROM ATLANTIC RECORDING CORPN' IS ABOVE THE WHITE STRIPE ON THE LABELS (LATER PRESSINGS HAVE IT INSIDE THIS STRIPE).  THE SECOND THING TO NOTICE IS THAT THE 'LED ZEPPELIN' TITLE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LABELS (LATER PRESSINGS HAVE IT AT THE TOP OF THE LABELS).  AND LASTLY THE MOST OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE ON THESE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS IS THE PRODUCTION CREDITS!!!!  ON THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS ITS SAYS "Produced By Jimmy Page" and "Executive Producer: Peter Grant" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LABELS.  WHEREAS ON ALL LATER LABELS THE PETER GRANT PRODUCTION CREDIT IS COMPLETELY OMITTED ALTOGETHER!!!!   THESE LABELS ARE MASSIVELY RARE ON THIS LP AND WERE CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS RECORD WAS RELEASED!!!!   THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1971 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - WITH THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE 'RADICALLY DIFFERENT' 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) LABELS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS IS THE GENIUNE '1ST PRESS' COVER WITH A 'MATT' FINISH, AND THIS LP ALSO HAS ITS ORIGINAL '1ST PRESS' INNER SLEEVE WITH 'FLIPBACK' EDGES!!!!  THE RECORD ALSO HAS 'PECKO DUCK' AND 'PORKY' ETCHED IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'DIFFERENT' LABELS, AND RARER STILL IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is 2401 012 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic labels (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Led Zeppelin at their best!!!! Any fan of Led Zeppelin, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 1 light wispy scuffline and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some INCREDIBLY low level background sound in a VERY few places!!!!  There is NO distortion, and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is 100% UNSPLIT and in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The Gatefold 1st Press 'Matt' Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has barely ANY edgewear AT ALL, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  This cover MUST grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!  THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1971 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH MEGA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS, AND IS IN STUNNING CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE OPPRTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP by Led Zeppelin in this sort of condition!!!!
