On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Led Zeppelin called "Led Zeppelin IV (Four Symbols)" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1971 UK Stereo 1st pressing on the 'Earliest' 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE VERY 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH VERY DIFFERENT & EARLIEST POSSIBLE LABELS (& MATRIXES) - THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!!  FINDING AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH THESE ULTRA RARE LABELS (WITH DIFFERENT TEXT) IS IMPOSSIBLY RARE AND ONLY EVER APPEARED ON THE VERY VERY 'EARLIEST' RED/MAROON 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP EVER - BEFORE THE LABEL TEXT WAS RADICALLY CHANGED TO THE STANDARD TEXT THAT APPEARS ON ALL 'LATER' RED/MAROON PRESSINGS.  FINDING THESE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' LABELS (WITH DIFFERENT TEXT) ON THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN!!!! 

AS MANY LED ZEPPELIN COLLECTORS WILL ALREADY KNOW - ALL STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP CAME ON THE RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL.  HOWEVER HAVING THIS RED/MAROON LABEL DOESNT ALWAYS INDICATE A 1ST PRESSING - AS THERE WERE TWO DIFFERENT LABELS AND TWO SETS OF MATRIXES ON THIS LABEL!!!!  ONLY THIS VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING HAS THE EARLIEST LABEL AND THE EARLIEST MATRIXES!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN.  FIRSTLY IT IS EASY TO DISCOUNT THE LATER RED/MAROON (PLUM) LABEL PRESSINGS - BECAUSE THEY HAD THE LATER (AND MORE COMMON) A//3 B//4  MATRIXES - AND ARE LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1972.  AND EVEN MOST OF THE RED/PLUM LABEL PRESSINGS WHICH DO HAVE 1ST PRESS A//3 B//3 MATRIXES - ARE NOT 1ST PRESSINGS AT ALL AS MOST HAD THE LATER STANDARD TEXT ON THE LABELS (AND NOT THE DIFFERENT TEXT OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS).  HOWEVER ONLY THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD THE 'DIFFERENT' AND EARLIEST 1ST PRESSED LABELS (WITH DIFFERENT TEXT) AND THE 1ST PRESSED A//3 B//3 MATRIXES!!!!  THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSED LABELS ARE VERY VERY DIFFERENT TO ALL LATER RED/MAROON LABELS - AND WERE CHANGED ALMOST IMMIEDATELY AFTER THE RECORD WAS RELEASED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THE SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES.  IF YOU LOOK AT THESE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSED LABELS IN MY PICTURES BELOW - THE FIRST THING TO NOTICE IS THAT THE "UNDER LICENCE FROM ATLANTIC RECORDING CORPN., U.S.A" IS ABOVE THE WHITE LINE IN THE RED PART OF THE LABEL (LATER LABELS HAVE THIS TEXT INSIDE THE WHITE STRIPE) - EXACTLY THE SAME AS ALL EARLIER ATLANTIC LPS (LIKE LED ZEPPELIN III FOR EXAMPLE).  THE SECOND THING TO NOTICE IS THAT THE CREDITS WERE ACCIDENTALLY OMITTED ON THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS LABELS!!!!  IF YOU LOOK BELOW THE SONG LISTING ON EITHER SIDE IT SAYS 'KINNEY MUSIC LTD' ONLY.  THIS WAS AN OMISSION - AS ON ALL LATER RED/PLUM LABELS  (INCLUDING THE MUCH LATER GREEN/ORANGE RE-ISSUES) THE CREDITS WERE CHANGED TO - 'KINNEY MUSIC/SUPERHYPE MUSIC INC'.  HOWEVER THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE ON THE LABELS IS WERE THE IMPORTANT TEXT 'LED ZEPPELIN' IS POSITIONED & ALSO THE EXTRA 'PETER GRANT' CREDIT (LATER REMOVED)!!!!  ON THESE MEGA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS THE TEXT 'LED ZEPPELIN' IS POSITIONED TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL AND IS QUITE SMALL.  ON ALL LATER LABELS THE 'LED ZEPPELIN' TEXT IS SLIGHTLY LARGER & POSITIONED TOWARDS THE TOP - JUST BELOW THE FOUR SYMBOLS!!!!  THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS LABELS ALSO HAVE A 'PETER GRANT' PRODUCTION CREDIT AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL - WHEREAS THIS WAS REMOVED ON ALL LATER LABELS!!!!   THESE LABELS ARE SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP AND WERE CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS RECORD WAS RELEASED!!!!  

BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) LABELS (WITH DIFFERENT TEXT), 1ST PRESS A//3 B//3 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING WITH ALL THE VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES MENTIONED ABOVE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is 2401 012 on the ORIGINAL and ULTRA RARE 'Earliest Possible' 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic labels (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Led Zeppelin at their best!!!! Any fan of Led Zeppelin, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The MEGA RARE 'Earliest Possible' 1st Press record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light wispy scufflines (only visible under EXTREME light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with nNO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some low level background sound - though this ONLY affects the VERY quietest parts of the music (of which there is virtually NONE - as this record is VERY loud indeed!) and the occassional gap & run on grooves!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade visually Excellent(Minus) if not better with the playing grade only VERY slightly less than this!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Flipback 'Darker Colour' inner sleeve which is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition with NO splits and NO writing!!!!  The 1st Press 'Matt' Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  This is the GUARANTEED 1st Press cover with a 'Matt' finish (later covers are glossy)!!!!  It has barely ANY edgewear AT ALL (virtually NONE!), barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL (virtually NONE!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO ringwear AT ALL, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE!), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  This cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS THE VERY 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING WITH MEGA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS (WITH DIFFERENT TEXT) & 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
