WEA/ DAMONT TEST PRESSING LP.
Etched run out groove number 7567815251 A/1 B/1
Damont etched in run out groove as is the name Phil -who assume was the engineer.
Basically untouched with just a few ultra light hairlines ( if you really look)
This and the coming 180 gram test pressings were done by WEA and cut and pressed at their Damont subsidiary. I have found it hard to be exactly sure when these were pressed.
Damont opened in 1972 by 1977 WEA were major shareholders until 1979 when they became part of the WEA group. In 2006 they went bust. So somewhere in that period this pressing was done.
The way one side is laid out makes it look as though there is an extra track but I think it's just the pressing layout.
Hopefully you will know this pressing assuming that WEA used the Damont cuts-which was not always the case.
