Description

As follows:
The First Four Led Zeppelin Studio LPs.
Not original pressings, but not recent reissues either, very good sound quality.
I think these pressings are from the late 1970's, maybe early 1980's.
All UK Pressings, on the Atlantic label.
All LPs have been sample play tested, and thoroughly visually inspected.
All play well, apart from II, which has some surface marking, see below:
Full description for each LP is given below:

1. Led Zeppelin - I (One).
Atlantic K40031.
Condition Vinyl:  EX+/EX+
Lovely copy, barely played.
Condition Sleeve: EX

2. Led Zeppelin - II (Two).
Atlantic K 40037.
Condition Vinyl:  VG/VG-
Side Two visually has some light surface abrasions, and a long hairline; nothing deep but the marks do impact on the sound. No skips or jumps on my Rega Planar 2, with medium weight. No skips or jumps, but there is mild distortion, mainly on Side Two.
Fully play tested, and described below:
Side One has light crackle at beginning of Track 1; and some light crackle and pops during the quiet passage of 'What Is...'  some crackle, a few isolated pops and some clicks through Tracks 3 and 4, mainly audible in the quiet sections,
Side Two starts with audible crackle through the first half 'Heartbreaker' and a few pops, a few more through the guitar break, some lighter crackle to the coda. Some light isolated crackle through 'Livin Lovin Maid', which becomes more audible through the quieter start to 'Ramble On'. Light crackle through Tracks 4 and 5, lots of  pops and crackle at end of the last track.
There is a name annotation to the Side One label, see photo.
Condition Sleeve: GOOD+
Matt Sleeve. Lots of wear to edges, corners badly worn.  Minor damage to lower front, 50mm from opening edge. Price sticker residue.

3. Led Zeppelin - III (Three)
Atlantic K 50002.
Condition Vinyl:  EX/EX
Plays very well, with very light crackle in places, mainly at Track 1 of each side. A few marks to surfaces, none of which cause audible issues.  A few light pops at beginning to 'Bron-Y-Aur Stomp', and few at the beginning of 'Hats Off to Harper'.
Condition Sleeve: VG+
Fully laminated, minor creasing, and some discolouring. The front sleeve does not have the rotating mechanism, about a fixed pivot (a fastener) but the insert will rotate and the insert is in excellent condition. The insert does have a centre hole, to accommodate the fixture, but the sleeve never had a fixture present. The Inner art work is very well preserved, with some light foxing, mainly towards the spine.

4. Led Zeppelin - Untitled (a.k.a IV - Four Symbols).
Atlantic K 50008
Featuring Sandy Denny on Battle Of Evermore.
Complete with Beige Inner featuring the 'Stairway to Heaven' lyrics.
Condition Vinyl:  EX/EX
Plays very well, and very little crackle, a few isolated pops. Two pops at beginning to 'Stairway', and another four before John Bonham crashes his drums.
My Favourite Led Zeppelin LP release; and a real pleasure to listed to. There is a very slight deviation to flatness on this LP, but plays perfectly.
Condition Sleeve: Good
Rear of the gatefold sleeve has a prominent and large surface tear (see photo 2), also slight waviness to the sleeve, maybe due to damp or heat. The inner artwork is well preserved, despite slight waviness, which is described above.
