LED ZEPPELIN PHYSICAL GRAFFITI
Welcome to my auction for a rare and very limited play Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti. A Swan Song/Atlantic, UK 1st Press from my personal collection. With the very earliest Matrix number combinations, and with very early Mother & Stampers I feel this is defiantly one for a collector of vinyl. Both vinyl's are in EX++ condition and play with stunning clarity on all sides. UK die-cut sleeve Made & Printed in England by Gothic Print Refinishers Ltd. THE SLEEVE & INSERTS:..
Both vinyl's found originally within a pair of printed card inner sleeves, both have differing catalogue numbers SSK 89400/A for sides 1&2 vinyl and SSK 89400/B for sides 3&4, however I no longer use these to store the vinyl in, instead more forgiving Poly-lined sleeves. Along with a printed insert they are enclosed within a wide die-cut sleeve. Window designs aligned with side 1&2 vinyl at the front and 3&4 at the back of the sleeve. The credits Insert also aligns with the windows to the main sleeve, and PHYSICAL GRAFFITI is clearly made out within the windows, and originally the album inners and insert were arranged this way when sold new in 1975.
SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVES CONDITION:..
The Swan Song 484 Kings Road, London SW10 wide die-cut window sleeve is in clean and excellent condition without the expected found wear to the corners or creasing around the openings of die-cut windows normally found these 38 year old record sleeves. No splits or general handling creases anywhere. The sleeve has always been stored carefully, slight rub off of the print to the top right hand side is noted, but very minor. Both of the inner sleeves are also in the same excellent condition, without handling creases or splits. GRADES EXCELLENT +

THE VINYL:..
SIDE ONE
Visual just one or two extremely faint sleeve removal lines (spot light used) The labels are spotless, no spindle marks.
Played very loud through high-end audio equipment and the audio is stunning, clean, clear quality very faint here and there static between tracks and just a few faint tics during intro of the first track. The vinyl is flat when viewed on the audio test (without puck). No signs of any pressing issues or distortion during test. EXCELLENT ++ EXCELLENT++ AUDIO QUALITY
SIDE TWO
Visual as side one just a couple of extremely faint sleeve removal lines from those card sleeves, and again spot light used for inspection The labels are spotless, no spindle marks just the thin line of vinyl pulled up the spindle hole from pressing.
Played through on the same audio equipment same volume and the audio is again stunning, clean, clear quality very faint here and there static between tracks and just a few faint tics during intro of the first track both side of the first match. The vinyl is flat when viewed before audio test again without puck, but Puck was added for audio grading. No signs of any pressing issues or distortion during test. EASILY GRADED EXCELLENT ++ NEAR MINT AUDIO
SIDE THREE
Hard to find but one sleeve removal line on this side when inspected. The label is free of spindle lines.
The audio tested at the same volume as the first vinyl, again some static tics during intro to first track, it's commonly found on this media and even on brand new vinyl. The vinyl is flat, clean, free of distortion, and clarity of audio is stunning. Grading this side as EXCELLENT ++ EXCELLENT ++ / NEAR MINT FOR AUDIO
SIDE FOUR
Side Four has notable sleeve removal lines, these are just barely on the surface, and more wisps than lines, none will have an affect on the audio quality at all. The label has the same spindle hole vinyl leaching from pressing (see close-up) No spindle lines. The vinyl is clean as with the other sides, this double vinyl purchased on the 21st May 1975 has never been cleaned with any record cleaning solution.
Audio for side four is the same as the previous three, Stunning clean sound from a limited played UK 1st Press vinyl. Grading Overall for this vinyl. EXCELLENT ++ WITH NEAR MINT AUDIO
AUDIO QUALITY
The Audio quality has been play graded using my Pro-Ject Xtension 10 turntable with Ortofon 2M Black cartridge and diamond Stylus.
