Another from my personal collection! Please note, I have many many UK copies and variations of this album including many variations of 1st issues, Please note! (later issues of this album had the covers made  in Germany this original was ''made in England''  Very rare to find these originals in this condition! This was purchased from new by me in 1985 (24 years ago)  and stored in a case with the records removed from the cover to protect the cover from ware!, This is how I have always stored my records! Important note! What makes this so desirable, is this issue would have been the last issue to feature the cover that was  'made in England' (later more common press feature the covers that were made in germany and feature this on the rear of the cover and on the card record sleeves) Please note! (no) text on the rear of the box cover below the 'Swan Song' logo as were featured on the 1st issue covers of this album. Very few were made like this and are very difficult and scarce to find especially in this condition! ! UK issued covers like this!, very soon after production of these they were made with 'Made in Germany'  featured! Also this issue is the first that was issued with the vinyls in white record paper sleeves (earliest 1st pressings did not come like this and the vinyls were very prone to getting scratched in the card sleeves) look these are the original sleeves with 'made in England' printed on

Physical Graffiti is the sixth album, a double album by the English hard rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released on February 24, 1975 and was the band's first release on its own Swan Song Records label!!.

The recording sessions for Physical Graffiti took place in January and February 1974 at Headley Grange in East Hampshire, England. Several of the songs on the album, however, were recorded during the sessions for previous Led Zeppelin albums. The instrumental "Bron-Yr-Aur" was recorded in July 1970 at Island Studios, London, for Led Zeppelin II. "Night Flight" and "Boogie with Stu" were recorded at Headley Grange and "Down by the Seaside" at Island Studios, all for Led Zeppelin IV. "The Rover" and "Black Country Woman" were recorded at the same sessions as "D'yer Mak'er" at Stargroves using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio in May 1972. "Houses of the Holy" was also recorded in May 1972, but at Olympic Studios. The group's fifth album Houses of the Holy took its title from this song, despite the decision not to include the song on that album!!!.

The remaining eight songs were all recorded during the sessions for Physical Graffiti in early 1974. Additional overdubs were added and the final mixing was performed in October 1974 by Keith Harwood!!

THE ALBUM COVER!!!!

The original album jacket for the LP included die-cut windows on the building shown on the cover!. As the inner sleeves for the discs were inserted in different orientations, various objects and people would appear in the windows, including photos of the band members in drag. The two buildings photographed for the album cover are located at 96 and 98 St. Mark's Place in New York City These are the same buildings Mick JaggEr is in front of in the Rolling Stones music video "Waiting on a Friend".!!!!

THE AUDIO QUALITY

I HAVE PLAYED THIS THROUGH TRACK FOR TRACK AT VERY LOUD VOLUME ON A TOP SYSTEM PRIOR TO LISTING! THE AUDIO IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS IN MY OPINION ABSOLUTELY CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT ALL THE WAY THROUGH! PLEASE NOTE! THE VINYLS ON THIS ALBUM ARE NOTORIOUS FOR EASILY BECOMING DAMAGED, DUE TO THE NATURE THAT THEY WERE RELEASED WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION FROM THE CARD SLEEVES, ESPECIALLY 1ST ISSUES, THESE ARE OFTEN FOUND WITH LIGHT WHYSPY MARKS AND SCRATCHES THAT PRODUCE HORRIBLE AUDIO SOUNDING STATIC TICKS THAT ARE HEARD IN QUIET PLACES NOT THIS ALBUM THE AUDIO IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS IN MY OPINION NEAR PERFECT\MINT AUDIO ON ALL FREQUENCIES!  

I PURCHASED THIS ALBUM FROM NEW  AND I DON'T REMEMBER HAVEING PLAYED THIS ALBUM! UNBELIEVABLE FOR 26 YEARS OLD!!!

THE AUDIO

I HAVE PLAYED BOTH VINYLS TRACK FOR TRACK ON A TOP SYSTEM AT VERY LOUD VOLUME! THIS PLAYS THROUGH TRULY AWESOME! AS GOOD AS IT GETS ON VINYL IN MY OPINION!! CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH WITH (NO) SIGNS OF DISTORTION, OR THAT THIS HAS BEEN OVERPLAYED! THE AMAIZING THING ABOUT THE AUDIO QUALITY ON THIS PRESSING IS THAT THERE IS VERY (VERY) MINIMAL IF ANY,  STATIC SURFACE  CRACKLE\TICK THAT CAN REALLY BE HEARD ONLY AT VERY LOUD VOLUME ON EXTREEMELY QUIET TRACKS!(IT IS SO EASY TO BE CRITICAL ABOUT THESE PRESSINGS BUT THIS AUDIO IS EXCEPTIONAL)!! IN MY OPINION THIS AUDIO WILL BE HARD TO SURPASS! PLEASE NOTE!
