BEAUTIFUL COPY - LOOKS LIKE IT'S NEVER BEEN PLAYED
PRESSED ON MID-WEIGHT VINYL (quite chunky for this release) WITH THE FIRST ISSUE SWANSONG "Manufactured in the UK" LABELS
MATRIX NUMBERS: SSK-59402-A1 / SSK-59402-B1
THE RECORD IS HOUSED THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE WHICH HAS A SILKY MATT FINISH (but interestingly has no embossed band name, title or Swansong logo. This could possibly be a prototype sleeve before the embossed text was added as the A1/B1 matrix is generally considered to be a pre-release)
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL TEXTURED SOFT PAPER INNER SLEEVE
Side 1: ACHILLES LAST STAND / FOR YOUR LIFE / ROYAL ORLEANS
Side 2: NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MINE / CANDY STORE ROCK / HOTS ON FOR NOWHERE - TEA FOR ONE
LABELS: MINT
Factory-fresh labels with no spindle traces or signs of use - the spindle hole is still quite tight
VINYL Visual: MINT/NEAR MINT
Both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen, shine like-new and are practically unmarked. Side Two has a pressing blemish/brush mark on the edge but this is purely cosmetic and has no audible impact
VINYL Audio: MINT-
Outstanding sound performance with a powerful loud cut and my play-check at volume detected practically nothing to fault.
Right from the thumping, driving opener of "Achilles Last Stand" through to the final "Tea For One" (one of Zep's finest extended original blues numbers) it sounds absolutely stunning
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
Apart from a tiny title mark in the top corner the sleeve is beautifully clean and white and feels practically as-new
INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
Clean, bright and fresh with no seam splits, just light signs of handling
A PROTECTIVE POLY SLEEVE, NEW INNER SLEEVE WITH ANTI-STATIC LINER, QUALITY BOX (NOT ENVELOPE) MAILER AND AMPLE STIFFENERS ARE ALWAYS USED TO ENSURE THAT YOUR RECORD ARRIVES SAFELY
