Description
This is the Led Zeppelin album that rarely comes up for sale, especially in this sort of condition.
Briefly it is the first issue of their debut album and it features the mega rare cover with imprints in turquoise lettering. I cannot vouch for the story that their manager was upset over the colour on the cover, it not being bright enough to catch the eye, but I can say that only the first print featured the turquoise before it was pulled and the the orange print substituted. The cover also shows the silver stripe along the front bottom edge and shows the printer as The MacNeill Press. Fully laminated the cover is in really excellent condition, all the edges are in great condition with only hints of wear. Front centre bottom edge shows a small scrape and there are somes scratches in the laminate centre rear, you have to really hunt to see them. Spine is clean and sharp and bottom right has a faint small discolouration, but I am really looking hard . The inner sleeve is I think original, very clean and no creases or writing, it features a polythene inner sleeve which is why the record is so good.

The centre white stripe is bright, clean and unmarked. Both labels are clean and free from tears, scribbles and stains. Some spindling shows but at a minimum. The playing surface has no scratches just faint cover marks which do not impinge on the playing, again, I am being pedantic but with a record like this I have to be. A broad description would be Near Mint or Excellent Plus.

I do have to put a reserve on an album of this worth, I am sorry but these are now so scarce I have to protect the value of this as they are getting scarcer and scarcer.
