LED ZEPPELIN SELF TITLED 1st ALBUM – SILVER STRIPE – PLUM & ORANGE – A1/B1 – VG

Listed on Discogs as “Variant 6”. Orange sleeve lettering and silver stripe along the bottom of front cover. Warner Bros./7 Arts publishing credit on one line. Matrices are corrected with hand etched 8.

Looks great in natural light. Lots of swirly micro thin surface lines in bright sunlight. Probably caused by playing on a stacking autochanger deck back in the day! All very surface no actual damage.

Plays well with no sticks or jumps, but not entirely perfect hence the VG grade, but priced accordingly. There is a light background crackle that can only really be heard during run-ins, gaps and quieter moments. It’s very easy to be over-critical listening on headphones, but it sounds great in the room, sound quality is excellent, clear and loud.

Sleeve is a wee bit cracked along the spine, so also VG. Original “plastic bags can be dangerous” inner has a small split down one edge. I will pack the record in a spare sleeve to ensure that this gets no worse.
