PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ALBUM IS BEING RE-LISTED BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS BUYER WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE WATER DAMAGE STAINS, SO I HAVE NOW INCLUDED LARGE IMAGES OF THE STAIN DAMAGE. SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE DESCRIPTION AND SCANS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING A BID.
Everyone knows how rare this first issue album is, and in better condition regularly achieves £750 upwards, I have started the auction at £100 to reflect the damage to the sleeve, so please read the description carefully before placing a bid, thank you. A Stereo example of Led Zeppelin’s First UK Album released in 1969 on the Atlantic Record Labels. This is the **FIRST ISSUE** 1969 pressing of this album with Turquoise Sleeve Lettering.
Both record labels are in Excellent condition and have the “Superhype” Publising credit on both sides.
Side 1 matrix: 588171A#1 and Side 2: 588171B#1.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in Very Good condition, the vinyl surfaces show several surface hairline scratches, there is also a feelable scratch on tracks 1 & 2 side 1which produces a light click.
The overall sound quality of the LP is Very Good, with background crackle.
The sleeve is in Very Good Minus condition. Please note that this sleeve has been subjected to water damage and does have water stains on the front and reverse, also the sleeve has ripples on both sides caused by the water damaged.
