Another from my personal collection. I own all of the UK Led Zeppelin Albums albums and I have most of the UK variations that I know of. This being released in 1976 over 42 years ago! All of my Led Zeppelin albums listed will be near mint Audio Archive copies and some may even be unplayed or at least only played twice or three times only! This album was originally only ever played one time to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the sleeve and cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records. This is an early 1st UK variation so rare to find this mega early variation -A2 -B3 and -A3 -B3 matrix endings variation rarely seen variation especially in this awesome condition. The vinyls have only ever been played by me two or three times ever from new and the audio is to die for absolutely stunning through out! On initial inspection, these vinyls look unplayed in my opinion no visable spider marks around the spindle hole.! So rich and vibrant it nearly shook the house down. One of the most vibrant sounding copies that I have ever heard! (Note: Alowances must be made for these mid seventies pressings ticks and pops are common caused due to the nature of the way that the vinyl was supplied in a card type record sleeve. Although I must admit that I did not hear anything/problems at all on my systems. Dirt and grit trapped in the sleeve caused surface scratches which is why I now and have done for forty odd years, stored my vinyls seperately from the sleeves and covers.) The original 1st issue Textured Swan Song ("43 Kings Road....") Embossed gate fold cover (Only 1st issues) has no splits or tears and looks just like it has come from the shop in my opinion. I would grade the cover at least excellent plus to near mint exceptional condition lovely clean 1st UK issue see photos! An Archive copy! True Audio Prefection On My Systems! (Note: Remember that I am hearing the playback in raw mode. I hear everything and on my main systems this sounds absolutely perfect, especially "Stairway To Heaven"

Your browser does not support the audio element. The Song Remains the Same is the soundtrack album of the concert film of the same name by the English rock band Led Zeppelin.
The album was originally released in 1976, before being remastered and re-released in 2007!
The recording of the album and the film took place during three nights of concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden, during the band's 1973 concert tour of the United States. All songs were recorded by Eddie Kramer using the Wally Heider Mobile Studio truck, and later mixed at Electric Lady Studios in New York and Trident Studios in London!
The album was released on September 28, 1976, by Swan Song Records. The sleeve design depicted a dilapidated movie house based on Old Street film studios in London, used by the group for rehearsals prior to their 1973 tour!
Until both the album and the film were remastered and re-released in 2007, there were significant differences between the two in terms of the songs included on each.
These differences were as follows: The film included "Black Dog", but not "Celebration Day". The soundtrack album included "Celebration Day", but not "Black Dog".
The film also included "Since I've Been Loving You", the introduction to "Heartbreaker", the instrumental "Bron-Yr-Aur" (which appeared on Physical Graffiti) and a hurdy gurdy piece called "Autumn Lake", none of which featured on the album!
Of the songs that both the album and the film had in common, some of the recordings featured on the album were of different performances from those in the film.
Other tracks which were recorded, but omitted from both the film and the soundtrack album, included "The Ocean" and "Misty Mountain Hop". A comprehensive study of the sources of the original album and the edits is available at The Garden Tapes!

The Vinyls
Both vinyls retain their sheen from new! These lay perfectly flay on the turntable and are free of warping!
On initial inspection these look awesome (like new) only in strong light or under a lamp could possibly any surface marks be possibly be seen, mainly sleeve removal marks (non audio sounding) THESE VINYLS LOOK AND PLAY LIKE NEW! The audio is awesome on all frequenies! Cristal clear and vibrant with (no) signs of distiortion or that this has been over played at all! There are (no) clicks or pops and certainly (no) skips or jumps just absolutely awesome! So rare to find like this especially mid seventies pressings! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS PRESSING!
Please note! I have given my honest opinion when describing the audio quality of this album ! haveing played the vinyls through track for trak befor listing! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static crackle\tick (not consistant through out the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 32 year old abum (not a reissue) that would have been originally played on a 32 year old system! TOP! TOP! AUDIO ON ALL FREQUENCIES! THIS WILL BE HARD TO SURPASS!
Point to note! I have played these vinyls prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system! I have owned this album from new and this has only ever been played two or three times ever!
Please note! This has been stored in a case for most of its storage life and has been laying dormant! From my experiance this would benefit from a constant clean before eah play! ,,, Build up of dirt and dust over a period causes static crackle\ticks! onstant cleaning greatly reduces this and greatly improves the audio quality!
The Record Sleeves
These are the original black sleeves! No edge splits or tears in lovely original condition. The vinyls are stored seperately from these!
The cover!
The original black 1st UK issue 1st UK press TEXTURED & EMBOSSED gatefold cover is awesome (rarely seen like this) Almost like like new! (no) marks or storageware! Unbeleivable for 42 years old! NO RINGWARE! The vinyls have always been stored seperately! This is how i have always stored my records! Perfect spine! Graded at least excellent plus to Near Mint in my opinion. AN ARCHIVE COPY! NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE!
The booklet
The original booklet is as new! Firmly attatched to the gatefold! superb!
