A side - 588171 A//1 Mothers 1 3 1 7 B side - 588171 B//4 Mothers 1 1 7 on the A side the second '8' has been scratched out and replaced with hand etched '8'
the first few initial copies had turquoise lettering on the cover & within a few weeks replaced by orange lettering; this album, in nearly every other respect, has many of the characteristics of a first pressing.

vinyl condition : ex / ex+ both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen with no dulling a few hairline surface marks although none have any significant audible impact graded under strong light


labels in great condition

a fine copy of one of the great classic rock albums OF ALL TIME ...

no major audio issues of note / no scratches / no groove wear / no distortion - very very light surface noise on some of the run ins and quieter passages - probably won't find a copy that does not have this; sounds sensational - very fine copy

sleeve is ex /ex+

laminated sleeve is in very fine condition; very very light wear and a few very light creases; inner sleeve also great condition

spine also fine (even has the fluted corners)

would be hard pushed to find a better copy
