LED ZEPPELIN STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN RARE UK PROMO JUKE-BOX 45 in EXCELLENT condition.
This auction is for a scarce LED ZEPPELIN promotional only issue UK 45 primarily made for jukebox use which was NOT available for general sale to the record buying public. I understand from a Led Zeppelin collector that these were a limited edition pressing of juke-box 45s to coincide with – and promote - the release in the UK on vinyl of the Led Zeppelin Remasters 3- LP set in 1990. I bought this 45 about 20 years at a record fair as I had never seen a UK 45 by Led Zeppelin – but [thank goodness] I did NOT play it on my juke-box at home!
The details of this rare 45 are as follows:
LED ZEPPELIN -STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN c/w WHOLE LOTTA LOVE on ATLANTIC LZ 3 LC in STEREO.
The record is visually in lovely EX condition. The disc is very clean with a nice sheen on both sides.
The record labels are nice and clean. The 45 has a factory cut large centre.
The record is housed in an ATLANTIC RECORDS sleeve.
I have test played this 45 on my BOSE hi-fi system and it played very well: with some crackle on the quiet opening passages of Stairway to Heaven: which is not uncommon on these promotional only jukebox 45s.
