Description

Beautiful copy of the original 1969 Monarch pressing of the first Led Zeppelin LP on Atlantic SD-8216. Rob Grennell master, Broadway labels, no barcode, wrong timing for How Many More Times... a true original pressing. The RIAA Gold Record sticker is attached but these stickers were put onto earlier copies like this one which hadn't been shipped yet. This is a true 1969 copy. The disc plays absolutely beautifully, almost completely flawlessly. There are a number of superficial scuffs, light marks, and some sleeve spotting, which comes from the acids in the paper sleeve, and is not damage. The scuffs and marks are all superficial and don't make any noise. I listened to the whole glorious thing and it plays nearly perfectly. A couple of moments of very very faint crackle, but barely. Really a beautiful playing copy. The Grennell master is incredible. The cover is just beautiful, with only the faintest hint of ringwear and remarkably crisp and clean edges and corners. Also comes with the correct early Atlantic inner sleeve. This is truly a beautiful original copy, hard to beat.
