This is an extremely rare record and a piece if rock history and given the fact that it is soon to be 40 years old and Led Zeppelin reunited and played this week what is seems to be their last concert this is the ideal Christmas present for a fan who can cherish it and appreciate its value.

This is an INCREDIBLY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic label, and MEGA RARE 1st Press Cover with 'Turquoise' Sleeve Lettering!!! 

THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!  THERE ARE SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES ON THIS LP THAT ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER HAD!

FIRST IT HAS AN ULTRA RARE 'TURQUOISE LETTERED' FULLY LAMINATED COVER! THIS ONLY EVER LASTED AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME AND WAS REPLACED WITH THE COMMON 'ORANGE' LETTERED COVER IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE!

SECOND BOTH LABELS HAVE 1ST PRESS 'SUPERHYPE' CREDITS TEXT AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL!

THIS AGAIN WAS QUICKLY CHANGED TO 'WARNER BROTHERS' STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE! 

BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE ON THIS LP THAT MAKES IT EXTRA SPECIAL AND THAT ONLY A FEW OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER HAD! IT HAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS UNCORRECTED MATRIXES WHICH ALL LATER PRESSINGS NEVER HAD!

IN FACT, THESE MATRIXES ARE AS RARE AS THE 'TURQUOISE' COVER AS THEY WERE CHANGED EVEN BEFORE THE TURQUOISE COVER RUN ENDED!  

THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 588171 A//1 & 588171 B//1 UNCORRECTED 1ST PRESS MATRIXES.  THESE MATRIXES WERE ONLY EVER USED ON THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER WHEREAS ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAD THE '8' IN EACH MATRIX 'CROSSED OUT' AND 'RE-ETCHED'.  ONLY THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' TURQUOISE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD THESE ULTRA RARE 'UNCORRECTED' MATRIXES!  

Clearly the value of this LP lies on the rarity rather than in its condition, after all is a copy that deserves to be kept aside for its amazing rarity. The vinyl and sleeve is in good condition although it has had a lot of play and has definitively seen a few "happenings". The labels are in very good condition and side one has the name “Tony H”. The sleeve is in good condition and the spine is perfectible readable

THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SO DON’T MISS THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!

Mint                       Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage

Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint               Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.

Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent                 Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.

Disc- May have a few superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good               Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.

Disc - Surface marks &/or hairline scratches. Moderate paper scuffs.

Good                       Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.

Disc - Looks very well played. A lot of surface marks/scratches
