Description

For auction today: Pressed in Australia on green/silver Atlantic # AX-11695. A mono recording.

Fully laminated sleeve is in v. nice cond. If you angle it toward the light you can see a round impression on back and front of lamination. This appears to be where another single-label was pressed against it in storage. Not obtrusive and not apparent unless you angle it as I said. Small pen lettering in top corner on rear which can most probably be removed with methylated spirits and a tissue. No splits to seams.

Side 1of disc has one 1-inch mark to be seen. This cannot be felt and is only superficial and not aff play. Super clean otherwise.
Side 2 has 1 tiny scratch which extends from in-groove on Track 1 to about 1/8 inch into playing surface. Not affecting play as tested on my on Rega 2. Also has 1 or 2 tiny, very hard to see marks/scratches. I am being pedantic and fussy about grading this particular disc more than usual as this item has v. broad appeal and so anyone considering bidding should be aware & pleased about this, esp. if they are super-fussy about condition.
Having said that, the disc is really SUPER shiney and FULL gloss. Plays with some background noise. However, I do know that a copy of the disc in absolute mint/shop condition still plays with background noise, due to the pressing quality from Australia - early 70's.

Side 1 label has initials in pen.

I believe this is a keeper copy.
