You are bidding for a MEGA RARE VERY, VERY 1st label variation pressing of Led Zeppelin IV (ZOSO)
On offer to you is a ULTRA RARE LP, (especially in this fantastic condition!!) 
This is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st pressing that I bought on the day of release, 8/11/71. THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND,  (I will explain why very soon)
This is THE 'EARLIEST' 1st PRESSING ever made - with completely 'different' labels and matrixes!!!! Only a few hundred of the 'EARLIEST' 1st pressings, were ever made like this and it is virtually impossible to find one in such excellent condition. I will now attempt to explain what makes this 1st 'EARLIEST' pressing LP on offer so different from subsequent issues and why it is so incredibly rare!!!
As many of you Led Zeppelin collectors will already know, all standard 1st Pressings of this LP were issued with the original red/plum Atlantic label. However just having a red/plum label does NOT always indicate a 1st pressing as there were TWO different lables and TWO different matrices on this label!!!! Only the VERY 'EARLIEST' 1st pressings of this LP came with the 'EARLIEST' first press labels and matrixes, and is of the utmost rarity as only a FEW HUNDRED were ever made!!
I'll try to explain why this particular pressing is so much rarer than any other!
Firstly it's easy to discount the latter red/plum label pressings - because they have the latter (and more common) A//3 B//4 matrixes, which are later pressings from 1972. And even most of the red/plum label pressings which do have the matrix numbers A//3 and B//3 are not 1st pressings at all - as most have standard later text on the labels, and not the completely different label text, which is exclusive to the 'EARLIEST'  1st pressings only. However this particular LP is one of those few hundred distributed with the different labels, here's why!!!
If you look at these very 1st pressings, (check the photo's) The first difference is the 'Under the licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn., U.S.A.' is above the white line and in the red half of the label. Later pressings had this printed in the white stripe of the label, exactly the same as all earlier Atlantic LP's, (like Led Zeppelin III for example)  The second thing to look at is that the music credits were missing on these Earliest 1st press labels! If you look below the song listings on either side of the LP you will see, 'Kinney Music Ltd' only. This was a serious omission - ALL subsequent pressings stated 'Kinney Music/Superhype Music Inc' Another obvious difference is where the 'Led Zeppelin' text is positioned and also the Peter Grant  credit which was completely removed on all later pressings!!! On these MEGA RARE EARLIEST 1st pressings the 'Led Zeppelin' on the label is positioned near the bottom of each label and is in relatively small text! On all later pressings the text is slightly larger and positioned nearer the top of the label underneath the symbols! If you look at the last photo you will see a close up of the corrected matrix on side 1, whereby a B // has been etched out with two crosses.
All of these ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1st press details are SO RARE and important as they only apply the few hundred 100% GENUINE earliest 1st pressings. There is no doubt that on offer is the rarest of the Led Zeppelin IV pressings from the very first day of release back in 1971.
Not only is this one of the earliest pressings but it is fantastic condition, such shiny black vinyl and not a mark at all, the cover is also very clean with minimal wear as is the original inner sleeve!

I try to grade my records as accurately as possible and obviously want to give 100% satisfaction to my buyers. I have played and listened to this album on a ION Profile deck whilst converting it to itunes, and also via my Bose Lifestyle system using the same deck. I have graded using the Record Collector grading system as follows:

MINT: THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE  MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND ANY EXTRA ITEMS, ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.

EXCELLENT: THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND PACKAGING MAY HAVE SLIGHT WEAR AND/OR CREASING.

VERY GOOD: THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE  NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AN OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER AND CONTENTS WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS IS ACCEPTABLE.

GOOD: THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES. THE COVER AND CONTENTS SUFFER FROM FOLDING, SCUFFED EDGES, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLOURATION ETC.

So here it is and good luck to any interested collector for reading this advert. This could conceivably be one of the best EARLIEST 1st PRESS Led Zep IV, (Zoso) examples you will ever be offered so don’t let it slip through your fingers!

It's got what I believe to be a low start price and no reserve. If you want to own this MEGA RARE Holy Grail of an album then bid while you can. All Led Zeppelin collectors will know how just how elusive this label error version is.

This is the rarest earliest and most sought after variation of this pressing!!!
