So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For sale by no-reserve auction is an absolutely superb condition copy of a first pressing from 1971 of 'LED ZEPPELIN lV'. It is a true first pressing with :
red/plum labels Peter Grant production credit an inverted feather symbol on the side 2 label no mention of Superhype Music Inc. on the labels 'PECKO DUCK' and 'PORKY' in the run-out grooves unlaminated gatefold sleeve dark gray inner sleeve with 2 foldback edges to the sides
The overall condition of both the sleeve and vinyl is at least excellent and probably near mint. It would be a superb addition to any record collection. The sleeve is in at least excellent condition with hardly any marks or wear at all. However, there is a tiny bit of wear on the corners which you can see in the photos. No writing or other marks. The inner sleeve is also in excellent condition apart from a small split on the bottom edge - this can be seen most clearly in photo 8. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition but there are some light 'spindle trails'. The record is also in really excellent condition with just a few light surface marks from the inner sleeve. It plays superbly in high quality with only occasional very light surface noise. The sound quality is just stunning for an album of this age. I honestly think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this incredible album. I am very open to sensible offers so please get in touch if you would like to make one. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Special Delivery post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
