Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin IV (Four Symbols).
This was released by Atlantic Records in 1978 and has catalogue number K50008. This has a gatefold stickered sleeve and Lilac coloured vinyl.
Condition: The gatefold sleeve comes in fine condition with only a touch of buffing seen on the mouth corners and a few faint discolour marks seen. Please check the pictures on supersize for clarification. Sine & Edges ex, No tears, bends or creases. This sleeve is graded at Near Mint.
This comes with its original picture inner sleeve which has a small split to the bottom edge but is otherwise fine.
Label 1, Is clean and as new, under very close examination only a few tiny spider spindle trails can be seen, the centre hole is perfect and shows no sign of wear. There is also a some bubbling seen on this label, no doubt done at time of press, again please check the pictures.
Label B, This side shows signs of wear, with lots of spindle marks being seen, there is some wear to the centre hole and a few other tiny white marks.
The vinyl retains its new shine. Under a strong light a few feather scratches can be seen as well as two dirt marks that will probably clean. I have given this a test play. Both sides play amazingly well. Threre is only one small patch of quiet feckling heard. This can be heard on track 3 of side 2. One or two quiet crackles aside the rest plays as new. Quiet breaks between records, the music plays strong through out with no fading, distortion or dragging of any kind. There is very little lessening in sound quality. The vinyl for this is graded at VG+, Down-graded because side 2 has been well played despite sounding fine.
