Insanely rare looking 70s backwoods mountain folk family album featuring Homer and his two young daughters on guitar, dulcimer, dulcitar (invented by Homer in 1971), fretless banjo, fiddle, organ, etc. Also joined by two 80-somethings Floyd and Edna Ritchie Baker on some tracks. Female vocals, lots of gentle flowing, atmospheric ballads, hymns and traditional fare rather than rootin tootin crapola. For fans of obscure private label real people late night early morning folk and bluegrass. On the RCM label from Kentucky.

Rate Your Music Review: One of thee best freaking dulcimer rekkerds I've discovered. Dude 'n' his sisters, daughters, 'n' who knows who play a double strung dulcimer, some sort of angular lute looking "dulcitar", 'n' a fretless banjo - all homemade. Recording is shoddy 'n' warbled; they sing rarely 'n' let thee "songs they love" do thee talking with thee sweet, sweet melodies. It's everything you want from private press nonesense like this. It transports you back 'n' soothes you like none other. Thee drones, thee hiss, thee tunes, - all combine for this perfect LP.

All records are packaged securely, protected by both stiff and cushion packaging, with vinyl (in original innersleeve) removed from cover and placed safely in poly sleeve to help prevent seam splitting during transit.
