Description

This auction is for an original 45 rpm issue (1957) by Lee Denson with the rockabilly release of "New Shoes" b/w "Climb Love Mountain" on Vik Records #4X-0281. Although the ballad "Climb Love Mountain" was designated as the plug side, "New Shoes" would gain more notoriety due to Eddie Cochran's lead guitar work on the song. This record still has good vinyl gloss with some light "paper" scuffs as well as some light surface scratches. Still, playback is excellent with clean sound and vocals, no background static. Labels look nice, a touch of wear. Please refer to photos for overall condition. Vinyl gets a visual VG grade with an Excellent rating on playback quality.
