Some of you may remember another sealed copy from a couple months ago, I was the former owner of that copy and I sold it through a friend's ebay ID for a final price of $690. THIS IS MY SECOND AND LAST COPY - I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL MY PERSONAL COPY. I had the enormous luck of finding 2 and only 2 sealed original copies of this LP in a record shop in Kentucky. The owner told me they had come in as part of a large soul collection from a DJ in Philly. The first copy safely made it to its new home in Europe without any problems. So for you serious funk collectors, here is your second and last chance!
Monstrously Rare, Monstrously Funky - Contains the hyper-funky 'She's a Love Maker' and ' Flim Flam' plus the gut-wrenching title track and a bunch of other smoking cuts. FLIM FLAM has two huge breaks, 8 bars each of just drums and handclaps. Lee Fields first and only period LP.
ORIGINAL, REAL, AUTHORIZED 1st PRESS! Here's the facts: This is a MODERATELY HEAVY PRESS, the shrink has 'BREATH HOLES' from the original manufacture, MEDIUM WEIGHT CARDBOARD, brown stock with pasted over slicks. The rear slick is printed in B&W and is pasted over the overlapping front slick. Nothing about this LP shows any hint of a repress. Recent copies on ebay were suspicious - one was taken down as a repress and the other had pictures copied from popsike, hmmm.., GUARANTEED IF RETURNED SEALED.
