Recorded on June 14 and 15, 1955, this Atlantic session features Lee Konitz on alto, Warne Marsh on tenor, Sal Mosca and Ronnie Ball on piano, Billy Bauer on guitar, Oscar Pettiford on bass and Kenny Clarke on drums. SIDE 1: TOPSY; THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU; I CAN’T GET STARTED and DONNA LEE. SIDE 2: TWO FOR ONE; DON’T SQUAWK; RONNIE’S TUNE and BACKGROUND MUSIC. This is a Deep Groove pressing and a MONO recording.

I have graded the LP and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any marks on both sides of the LP. The original luster is still on the LP. There is some slight sign of wear in or around the spindle hole on Side B and only a couple of marks on the label. That brings it down from a M- grade. The vinyl retains its original luster. The record jacket just missed a M- grade, but there are the remains of a sticker on the upper left corner. It’s not that noticeable but it is there.
