Description
For auction is LEE KONITZ' "Motion," on Verve V-8399, MONO, 1961.
SOUND:
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to side A completely. The sound was great, just terrific! No issues to report.
VINYL:
Visually, the vinyl is about VG+. There are light scuffs and smudges but nothing that looks significant. It is on a black label with silver lettering. The runouts are etched as follows: 61-V6-110 V-8399-A // 61-V6-111 V-8399-B.
COVER:
The cover is about VG+ (probably better). The edges are solid and straight all around. The corners are fairly sharp.Front and back covers are clean and unmarked. The back has a little ring-wear. The gatefold spine is still so stiff, it stands at attention about 40 degrees! The inside gatefold is clean with a bit of routine yellowing. There is a small spot of ink, and a "promo" stamp. Overall, the cover is in beautiful condition.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
