LEE KONITZ 'VERY COOL' LP VERVE RECORDS MONO MGV 8209
* * * Great MONO DEEP GROOVE copy of this fantastic album from '587, in the midst of Lee's great Verve years. W/ Trumpeteer label. The altoist and his group are at top form on this one. Players are Shadow Wiloson, Peter Ind, Don Ferrara , and Sal Mosca. W/ great liner notes by Nat Hentoff + original plastic inner sleeve. This is a rare one as it is - finding one in this great condition ain't easy folks! VINYL: VG++ (Not many, but some inaudible surface scuffs on this nice looking disc. Looks great.) LABELS:VG++ NM (Deep Groove Trumpeteer label shows very little noticeable wear.) Cover: VG++ (Borderline NM. This nice jacket has retained it's glossiness and sturdiness over the years. All corners nice and firm w/ only the slightest of 'bumps'. 2 little stamps on back cover , visible in pic below. Some noticeable ring wear on this otherwise flawless,pristine jacket.)
