A&M Records SP 4140

One of the best Vocalist-Musicians to come out of the West Coast Psych-Rock scene in the late 1960's, this is Michaels' first LP release. And it's a gem! Many of his fans have declared it his best album, although he had changed his sound by his third LP and that's when radio oddly enough got around to noticing him. On this LP, he has the backing of a full band, including amazing Guitar work by Hamilton W. Watt, with Michaels handling all Lead Vocals as well as Piano-Organ & Harpsichord, this despite the fact that there was another Organist on the album too, Gary Davis. Repeated listenings to this LP only make it sound better and better each time. Fabulous intro LP of Lee Michaels that would be one you want with you on a desert island!
