LEE MORGAN “Indeed!” aka “Presenting” RVG, P, DG, FR, Blue Note BLP 1538 Mono Vinyl
This is “RVG” etched, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, Flat Rim, “P” pressing of LEE MORGAN’s “Indeed!” aka “Presenting Lee Morgan” on the "47 West 63rd/767 Lexington Ave” labels of Blue Note BLP 1538. Musicians include Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Clarence Sharpe, Wilbur Ware, Philly Joe Jones.
Flat Rim VINYL plays with consistent low-level surface noise (i.e, crackle, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with pops and ticks. Loud, repeating ticks Side 1, #1, and Side 2, #1. Side 2, #1, a couple skips. But ensemble sections are dynamic and strong. No distortion. Good gloss. Many hairline marks, 5 feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The “47 West 63rd/767 Lexington Ave” labels are clean, some fading, spindle wear. Original inner sleeve included. See photos.
COVER has seen better days. Seams and Spine taped with large 1” tape. All Corners cut. Wrinkles and tape on front. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave, New York 23” back jacket shows much wear, tape, stains, ink marks. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
