Up for auction is a Jazz LP by the Lee Morgan sextet, Blue Note Records 1541, 1957, Mono. Label has the 767 Lexington Ave. address and deep groove and both sides. It also has the RVG and "ear" stamp in the trailoff.

The lineup for this album is: Lee Morgan, trumpet; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Kenny Rodgers, alto sax; Horace Silver, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Charlie Persip, drums.

The record is in very good condition. There are only a couple of short surface lines on each side. the labels are in excellent condition. The label on the A side has a very light crease line that dissects it. I think it might have been during the manufacture. There is also a very small piece of paper stuck to the trailoff on the A Side, which might also have occurred during manufacture.

The album cover is in good condition. The top and side seams have light wear, but no splits. The bottom seam has more wear. The seam near the record opening is very worn for about one inch, and may turn into a split without care.  There is also visible corner wear. There is record wear on the front and back. The front has a 1 inch crease in the lamination. The cover has no notations or writing on it.

NOTE: Any white spots on the picture are from my camera flash. I look forward to spring when natural light is abundant.
