PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE "black note" label variant on Blue Note from 197? with lower label rim text that stops before the halfway point and original poly-lined inner sleeve with blue note wallpaper design!!! Release year is unclear as there is not a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. I have had well over 15 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting here in Chicago and I have never seen this variant before. Supremely rare so don't sleep Blue Note collectors. LP is a gorgeous near mint minus. Cover is VG+ with some light ring. You will not be disappointed.
