Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1966 BLUE NOTE MONO PRESSING OF THE 1958 LP titled 'The Cooker' from veteran jazz trumpet man Lee Morgan and a stellar group.  It is Blue Note Records U.S. catalog number BLP 1578, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, thick cardboard cover.  Record cones packaged inside the cover in its original '27 Years Blue Note' inner sleeve with pictures of other Blue Note label LPs.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS PRESSING OF 'THE COOKER' HAS MATRIX MARKINGS AND INNER SLEEVE CONSISTENT WITH A 1966 PRESSING AS SHOWN ON THE DISCOGS SITE, BUT THE '47 W 63RD NYC' ADDRESS ON THE RECORD LABELS COULD VERY WELL INDICATE AN EARLIER PRESSING.

Condition of record is a nice high VG+ with a very few visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Condition of cover is VG+ with a small stain at the top of the back cover slick, some ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.  '27 Years Blue Note' inner sleeve has a split along its bottom edge which I have repaired with clear tape and a few wrinkles.  This LP would be a choice addition to any Blue Note Records or modern jazz record collection!  Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - REGISTERED WITH SIGNATURE DELIVERY FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S. IS $38.95 EXCEPT FOR CANADA (31.95).  BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE!
