LP is in Near Mint condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, without  scuffs or scratches of any kind.There are a few miniscule but inaudible sleeve marks!   The fidelity is superb, with no distortion, pops, clicks or background noise of any kind.


Jacket is in Near Mint condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is in very nice condition. There are virtually no marks, scuffs, or blemishes of any kind.There is only tiny amount of wear on the the corners, as in image.This lp is stored in the original factory inner sleeve.   Lee Morgan, arguably the greatest jazz trumpeter of the 1960s, was a child prodigy in the jazz world. By the time he was 18 he was not only a member of the Dizzy Gillespie big band but leading his own dates for Blue Note. His swaggering and cocky style, originally strongly influenced by Clifford Brown, really developed quickly during his period with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers (1958-60). Still just 21 at the time of Lee-Way, Morgan was in his early prime for this quintet outing with altoist Jackie McLean and pianist Bobby Timmons. It is a measure of his already impressive stature that Art BlakeyBlakeyBlakey agreed to be a sideman and play drums on Morgan's set. The music, which includes both hard bop and soul jazz, brings out the best in Lee Morgan, who is both fiery and tender. An underrated classic from 1960.
