klass + klassik sounds from the Black Ark...ten tracks of Perry-Magic...all of you should know these epochal works in reggae music...here comes the ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS on the rarely seen Lion Of Judah-Label straight from JA roots...amust for the Lee Perry-afficionado + a gem in each + everyone's collection...more roots, more culture, more Black Ark Mystery straight from the 70s...I&I tell ya...
WAX condition: ex / ex, both sides look great, shows only light surface marks and plays killer style all the while...original Jah Jah A Natty Dread-styleeee!
LABEL condition: A-side perfect / B-side perfect - watch the scan, please!
SLEEVE in top condition, just general wear + light ringwear, looks great, NO writings, NO damages, NO seam splits...
Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
And that’s my Vinyl Grading Scale:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
