The higher value of sealed old stock LPs is usually due to collectors wanting to keep, and not open, original issues. Open copies of the same LPs are not usually worth as much to collectors because they are more common, however good the condition of the disc or sleeve.
Our sealed records are described TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY, but are sold only as stated on an 'As Is' basis. If you are purchasing this title to open and play, it is not returnable under any circumstances. It is sold as a still-sealed collectors item under the assumption that the purchaser intends to keep it as sealed.
This title is new old stock from the original period of the album's release. It is not a recent repress or reissue, but as it is sealed we cannot confirm which pressing plant or label design it has, and it is offered for sale on that basis.
Please notify us with your payment if you want us to open this sealed record and check the merchandise before we ship it. This would prevent seam splits (the disc breaking through the spine of the cover in transit) that can occur as part of the shipping process. We always pack carefully, but the only sure way to prevent seam splits in transit is to remove the record from the cover before packing it, which we do with all non-sealed records. At the buyer’s request, we will open a sealed record and pack the vinyl in a protective sleeve separate from the cover. Unless the buyer requests that the sealed record be opened and packed in this manner, we are not liable for any seam splits that may occur in transit.

If you overpay shipping instead of our invoice at time of purchase (this particularily applies to international orders), we are NOT ABLE to refund the full overpaid amount because eBay and Paypal take a percentage of the shipping charge and do not refund it to sellers once it has been paid. This means your overpaid shipping refund will be in the region of 10-13% LESS than the overpayment made. We are online all day most days, so please be patient and await a correct shipping invoice if eBay's system does not provide it to you.
CANCELLED ORDERS AND REFUNDS:
Upon return of merchandise we will always refund in full any item genuinely defective, or if we have made an error.
If your purchase was made with Paypal, please be aware that Paypal no longer refunds the fees it charges sellers for refunds of full [or part of] an order, or order cancellations after payment has been made.
All our sales are now subject to the following condition:
Any buyer using Paypal that returns items for any other reason than defective or seller error, or cancels an order before shipment but after payment has already been made, will receive a full refund MINUS the fee that Paypal now keeps from us, the seller. This fee varies depending on the amount of the purchase, but is usually 3-4% of the total value of the purchase, including shipping.
