Description
Up for auction is a rare original pressing lp of LEE WILEY performing GEORGE GERSHWIN SONGS.
Lp was released circa 1950 on Liberty Music Shops as LMS-1004 and is in 10" format.
Album spotlights Wiley's powerful voice flawlessly performing eight Gershwin tunes on this deep groove flat edge disc!
Condition:
Vinyl is in solid VERY GOOD (VG) condition with several light/ minor surface marks and scratches.
Play grades very well for this style recording. There is some of the "hissing"/surface noise sound that is typical for these recordings as well. There are indeed no skips!
Album cover does have some standard age shelf wear. There is a 3 inch seam split up top near opening and a 1 inch seam split on the bottom opening.
10" did not come with an inner sleeve jacket, but will include a new one for you!
