The heavy vinyl with high groovewalls provides a fantastic audio experience with channelling not equalled by the later CD version. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing Rotel amp and B&W three way speakers!!! A beautiful CLASSIC with supreme songcraft, a joy to listen to!!!!
Vinyl: EX+. I'm very happy to be able to present this gem in this great condition. Only lightly played . The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my rotel amp and B&W speakers. This really heavy vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went largely unnoticed at the time. No marks or hairlines.There are some paper retraction traces only visible under a strong light but otherwise this vinyl is EX+. In normal daylight this looks NM. Great replay on my premium sound system (Linn, B&W, Arcam) without any skips or jumps. The replay is smooth and there is no crackle or interference. The labels still retain their beautiful original appearance.
Gatefold Sleeve: VG+. INCREDIBLE! A fantastic looked after matt gatefold that would be EX if it weren't for the price/catalogue sticker front right top. The opening is super crisp. The sleeve lies completely flat and square, the spine is fully legible. Very light storage wear to top and bottom edges. The inside gatefold is nice.
Also retains its original swirl inner sleeve. Polyliner still attached. One small seam split, but this is surely well above average condition!
The lyric insert is still present with light thumb creasing.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
