THIS IS A MONO COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK ISSUE OF DAVY GRAHAM’S “LARGE AS LIFE AND TWICE AS NATURAL” LP AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THIS WAS ONE OF DAVY’S DECCA LPs THAT SOLD FAIRLY POORLY AT THE TIME AND IS CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER, HOWEVER, SHOWS MANY SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE AND IS RATHER TATTY. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO GET THIS MINT VINYL!
The Catalogue Number is LK 4969 on the red Decca mono label. Matrix numbers are ARL-8494-1B and ARL-8495-1B.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and ONLY THE VERY VERY LIGHTEST (ALMOST INVISIBLE) spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SECOND HAND ABOUT 40 YEARS AGO AND IT HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover SHOWS MANY MANY SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE (see picture)! It has been subjected to being placed in a record rack in the shop prior to sale. The front cover has about fifteen horizontal creases from the spine due to being stored in a record shop rack. The longest crease is 1cm and the shortest 0.25cm. These creases have made the spine rather flimsy. The top of the front cover has about twenty vertical creases - the longest crease is 1cm and the shortest 0.25cm. The bottom of the front cover has some discolouration and rubbing. The open edges are jagged and the laminate has come away at the opening edges. There is a vertical 4cm crease running 0.75cm from the opening edge just by Davy’s left ear. There is wear to the extreme corners. There is discolouration to the top right corner of the front cover. There is a light 15cm horizontal hairline crease that starts above Davy’s left eyebrow and has rubbed away the laminate in places. Strangely enough, there are NO thumb creases and the rest of the front cover (the central part) retains most of its initial glossy look. So the cover looks tatty and worn at its edges but the central part of the cover is much better.
The back cover is in similar condition to the front (see picture). It has the same creasing, edgewear and cornerwear. There are also two 0.5cm scuff marks 3.5cm above the bottom of the back cover and 14cm to the right of its opening edge. The previous owner has written the timings for each track in blue biro. There is substantial discolouration to the edges of the back cover. Strangely enough there are no creases or discolouration to the main part of the back cover.
THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO GET HOLD OF THE MONO VERSION OF THIS LP IN MINT CONDITION BUT PLEASE DON’T EXPECT MUCH FROM THE COVER!

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
