Leggo Dub (Jamaica, Cash & Carry records, late `70s) Cover: EX (2" bottom center seam split) Disc: M- (just a couple of light marks, vinyl quality is not the best)
Stunning dub rarity from Jah Leggo's Cash & Carry label, with rhythms from Gregory Isaacs (lots of cuts of tunes from the Mr. Isaacs LP), Ossie Hibbert, and Keith Hudson / Horace Andy's Don't Think About Me rhythm. The mix, most likely by Errol Thompson at Joe Gibbs' studio, is wild! As with the legendary African Dub Chapter 3 LP, this has an unusual "outdoors" atmosphere and plenty of crazy sound sefects: an echoed dog barking, a flushing toilet, car noises etc. Sound clip plays samples from several tracks:
