Legitime Defence LD-1, 1984 private pressing (Canada)
The only recording from this obscure progressive rock band formed north of Montreal in St. Jerome for this "one-off" project.
Absolutely superb musicianship throughout......killer guitars, organ, swirling synths and thumping percussion.
André Bergeron, Daniel Beaulieu, Pier-Dionne Labelle & Jacques Brunet composed all the tunes and privately cut this LP (under 1000 pressings).
Little is known about the band's actual origins, but they obviously come together brilliantly here...... with the genius of René Lussier (Conventum, Nebu, EMIM) on guitars, Jean Corriveau (synths, organ, producer), JF Fabiano (drums, percussion) and Claude Simard (Nebu) on bass.
** Definately one of those still-undiscovered Quebec-Prog gems **
