These 78's have been cleaned on our Pro-Ject VC-S cleaning machine and played through once on each side on a record player with a sapphire tip stylus
Set of 4 original UK 12" Shellac 78rpm, c.1940. Used paper sleeves, housed in original folder (as pictured). Cat numbers Columbia LX8282 - LX8285, set no C285
"T" tax code on labels confirms a manufacturing date between 21/10/1940 and 15/04/1942
A nice clean shiny set, with a few light needle marks. All 4 records are very slightly dished, which has no effect on playback. All play very well with some background crackle and normal shellac surface noise (see pictures).
This set is supplied with the original folder sleeve an outer box style sleeve, which is worn and creased in places, and the original information leaflet (see pictures)
